Sleep Disorders Australia

Sleep Disorders Australia (SDA) is a voluntary not-for-profit health promotion charity that advocates for the needs of people with sleep disorders and raises awareness of sleep disorders and the significance they can have on the lives of those affected by them. SDA provides information and education for the prevention and treatment of sleep disorders and strives to bring a better understanding of sleep health to the public.

Various sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome, insomnia, narcolepsy, idiopathic hypersomnia, and circadian rhythm are supported by Sleep Disorders Australia. It is a good first stop for people experiencing sleep issues. Resources include factsheets, information booklets, a video library, information as to funding sleep aids (CPAP machines), and rebates.  Sleep Disorders Australia also hosts a page where you can buy and sell secondhand CPAP machines.

As a leading consumer body for sleep disorders in Australia, we work with a range of sleep health professionals, organizations, and research centers. Membership is available to all sufferers, members of their families, medical professionals, and any member of the public who has an interest in sleep disorders.
